Freelance Food & Drink Writing Lead: Whisked

Today’s freelance writing lead is for food and drink writers.
A company called Whisked Foodie is looking for three writers to contribute weekly pieces for a new foodie website:
a NYC foodie writer, a mixology writer and a “Chef’s Table” writer.
The NYC foodie writer must currently reside in New York City and be able to
contribute four articles a week, each with an accompanying photo taken by the writer. The four articles each week
are as follows: one New York City restaurant review, one regional culinary trend and news article, one regional
ingredient spotlight piece, and one personal blog article.
The mixology writer is also responsible for four articles a week,
each with an accompanying photograph. The mixology reporter must contribute a general wine informational
article, a general cocktail informational article, an artisan/product profile, and a personal blog
entry.
The Chef’s Table writer must contribute five pieces, with photo, each week. This
writer must write two kitchen gadget/product articles, two cooking technique pieces and one blog entry every
week.
Writers for any of the above categories must either be a culinary professional
with some writing and media experience, or a writing professional with some food related experience.
Each article or blog entry must be approximately 350 to 500 words. Pay is $30 per
article, except for restaurant reviews, which pays $40.
