What to Do with Demand Studios Rejected Articles or Abandoned Rewrites

By Demand Studios Review Editorial

Rejected If you write for Demand Media Studios long enough, no matter how gifted you may be, you'll eventually get an unreasonable rewrite request or find an article has been rejected.

No one likes when this happens, but it's inevitable. The important thing is to know that Demand Studios rejected articles and abandoned rewrites don't have to result in wasted time and effort.

You can make use of those articles through other means. You can find a way to earn revenue from your Demand Media Studios rejected articles and abandoned articles, if only you know what to do with them.

There are several options, and the one you choose will depend in part on your particular situation. No matter what, though, there are options and there are outlets.

Use The Demand Studios Abandoned Rewrite or Rejected Article For Your Own Site

If you have your a website or blog, use the content for your own property. If it doesn't fit with the type of material you usually publish, start up something new.

You can have your own blog or website that is dedicated solely to how to and information articles.

Even if you only have a handful of pieces to start with, over time readers will find their way to your articles via search engines. (Read our How To Use Keyword Phrases article for information on successfully writing for search engines.)

If you've never run your own blog or website, it's not as hard as you may think. Even a novice can run a site through blogging platforms like Blogger, WordPress and Tumblr. (Although I actually advise against using Blogger, which is owned and operated by Google, as they may delete your entire site if you utilize Google AdSense and they think you've violated their terms of service.)

If you want something a bit more advanced, but still very user friendly, I recommend XSitePro. The website building software will cost you a bit of money upfront, but I can attest to its usefulness. In fact, I've used XSitePro to create this website and have no complaints.

You'll need to buy a domain name and hosting as well, if you go the website route, for which I suggest Namecheap and HostGator. Purchasing domain names and hosting are both relatively inexpensive.

Once you've got the content up on the site, place Google AdSense ads alongside the articles. You can also add affiliate links. Amazon has a good affiliate program, as does eBay. Whenever a sale is made through your link on your site, you will get a cut of the profits.

You should also check out other affiliate program sites like Clickbank, LinkShare, ShareASale and Commission Junction.

Publish the Article On Another Content Site

Demand Studios is not the only game in town. There are many other content websites out there, and many of them don't even require you to even go a copy editor.

This is arguably the easiest way to utilize your rejected or abandoned Demand Studios articles.

I recommend submitting your work to either Bukisa, Suite101 or HubPages.

Helium and Associated Content are my second-tier recommendations.

You won't get an upfront payment from any of these sites, but you'll get the chance to earn advertising revenue. There are never any guarantees with this kind of set-up, but the pieces should at least earn something over time.

You might even find that they earn you more in the long run than they would have if Demand Studios had accepted them in the first place.
